diplomacy and consulair affairs
Albert Matondang has vast experience in diplomacy and consulair affairs, including legal affairs for more than 20 years. Before joining MLO, Albert has built solid career in government institutions, by firstly joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 1976. His main expertise is in diplomacy, but he also had been assigned to deal with legal affairs at Indonesian Diplomatic Missions Overseas.
He had been entrusted as Political and Consulair Officer, in various Indonesian Embassies. His highest achievement in government institutions was Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. He was also appointed twice as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Republic of Fiji Islands and the Republic of Portugal.
He graduated from Faculty of Law, Trisakti University in 1976, and took one year Post Graduate Course in Diplomacy, Oxford University (Lady Margaret Hall), United Kingdom in 1986.
